[누가복음 21:26-28]

26. 사람들이 세상에 임할 일을 생각하고 무서워하므로 기절하리니

이는 하늘의 권능들이 흔들리겠음이라
KJV - 26. Men's hearts failing them for fear,

and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth:

for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

ESV - 26 people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world.

For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

27 그 때에 사람들이 인자가 구름을 타고 능력과 큰 영광으로 오는 것을 보리라

KJV - 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

ESV - 27 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 이런 일이 되기를 시작하거든 일어나 머리를 들라 너희 구속이 가까왔느니라 하시더라 

KJV - 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up,

and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

ESV - 28 Now when these things begin to take place,

straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

 

[마태복음 24:29-31]

29. 그 날 환난 후에 즉시 해가 어두워지며 달이 빛을 내지 아니하며

별들이 하늘에서 떨어지며 하늘의 권능들이 흔들리리라

KJV - 29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened,

and the moon shall not give her light,

and the stars shall fall from heaven,

and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

ESV - 29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened,

and the moon will not give its light,

and the stars will fall from heaven,

and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30. 그 때에 인자의 징조가 하늘에서 보이겠고

그 때에 땅의 모든 족속들이 통곡하며 그들이 인자가 구름을 타고

능력과 큰 영광으로 오는 것을 보리라

KJV - 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:

and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn,

and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

ESV - 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man,

and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn,

and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

 
31 저가 큰 나팔 소리와 함께 천사들을 보내리니

저희가 그 택하신 자들을 하늘 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 사방에서 모으리라  
KJV - 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet,

and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds,

from one end of heaven to the other. 

ESV - 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call,

and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

[베드로후서 3:8-10] 

8 사랑하는 자들아 주께는 하루가 천 년 같고 천 년이 하루 같은 이 한 가지를 잊지 말라
KJV - 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,

that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
ESV - 8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved,

that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 주의 약속은 어떤 이의 더디다고 생각하는 것같이 더딘 것이 아니라

오직 너희를 대하여 오래 참으사 아무도 멸망치 않고 다 회개하기에 이르기를 원하시느니라
KJV - 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;

but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish,

but that all should come to repentance.
ESV - 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness,

but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish,

but that all should reach repentance.

10 그러나 주의 날이 도적같이 오리니 그 날에는 하늘이 큰 소리로 떠나가고

체질이 뜨거운 불에 풀어지고 땅과 그 중에 있는 모든 일이 드러나리로다 
KJV - 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;

in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,

and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,

the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
ESV - 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief,

and then the heavens will pass away with a roar,

and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved,

and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

[요한계시록 6:12-17]

12 내가 보니 여섯째 인을 떼실 때에 큰 지진이 나며

해가 총담같이 검어지고 온 달이 피같이 되며
KJV - 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo,

there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,

and the moon became as blood;
ESV - 12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold,

there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth,

the full moon became like blood,
 
13 하늘의 별들이 무화과나무가 대풍에 흔들려 선과실이 떨어지는 것같이 땅에 떨어지며
KJV - 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth,

even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
ESV - 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit

when shaken by a gale.

14 하늘은 종이 축이 말리는 것같이 떠나가고 각 산과 섬이 제 자리에서 옮기우매
KJV - 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;

and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
ESV - 14 The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up,

and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

15 땅의 임금들과 왕족들과 장군들과 부자들과 강한 자들과

각 종과 자주자가 굴과 산 바위 틈에 숨어
KJV - 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men,

and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman,

and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
ESV - 15 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals

and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free,

hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,

16 산과 바위에게 이르되 우리 위에 떨어져 보좌에 앉으신 이의 낯에서와

어린 양의 진노에서 우리를 가리우라
KJV - 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us,

and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
ESV - 16 calling to the mountains and rocks,

"Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne,

and from the wrath of the Lamb,

17 그들의 진노의 큰 날이 이르렀으니 누가 능히 서리요 하더라 
KJV - 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? 
ESV - 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"
